What to bring to class

• Sewing machine in good working order
• ¼" foot for your sewing machine
• Rotary cutter, ruler, and mat
• Basic sewing supplies: scissors, (large and small), seam ripper,

straight pins

• Thread to blend with fabric
• Creative Grids 60 degree diamond ruler (full size or mini, both will work)
• Bumblebee Blossoms Pattern

Fabric requirements

• 2 yds white background fabric
• 1/6 yd solid black
• 1 yellow ombre fat quarter for bee bodies (color is original/solid Ombre Honey)
• 20 different “Ombre Bloom” fat quarters (full list of fabrics inside pattern)
• (these colors are the same if you use the original ombre line, or the Ombre Confetti line, all by Moda)
• ½ yd binding fabric
• 3½ yds backing fabric

Pre Cutting

If you are comfortable, follow the cutting instructions on pages 4-5 of the pattern, cut all the white and black strips. You are welcome to cut the fat quarters as illustrated, or we can do the rest of the cutting in class.
