     DRAGONFLIES IN INK

With this technique you’ll learn how use a Light box, Tsukineko Inks with shaving cream, a sea wool sponge & angled paint brush, as well as Fabrico Markers for outlining & shading Ann Creek’s unique design of Dragonflies & Cattails.

Pattern available in class $5.  And students may buy a small platter of the inks needed for class for $5.

6 Tsukineko INKS:   Sky Blue, Celadon, Truffle, Tropical Lagoon, Vegas Gold, & Frost White                                                                                          

4 Fabrico MARKERS;  Celadon, Truffle, Pale Aqua & Tropical Lagoon

Fabrics:    Background: White on White - Fat Qtr.                

                 Border 3-3 ½” x wof                                                    

                 Binding 4 – 2 1/4” x wof                                                                                 Batting & Backing 13 x 20” each

  • Brush; 1/8, ¼ & 1/2” angled set (Available on Prime)

  • Shaving Cream (cheap stuff is fine!)
  • Wooden Stirs
  • Blue Shop Towels (No imprints)
  • Freezer Paper
  • Painter’s Tape
  • Water bowl
  • Apron (or wear Old Clothes)
  • Pencil
  • Ultra Fine Black Sharpie
  • Paper Scissors
  • Sea Wool Sponge
  • Clear Aloe Vera Gel
  • Small Ironing station
